Mobile And Sprint Merger Could Affect You



Sprint (formerly known as Sprint Nextel) offers mobile phone and mobile internet service, including text messages and voice mail, to individuals and businesses. Call the customer service phone number. Not only Is the customer service awful but the phone service is just as bad. If the merger goes through, Sprint customers who can no longer afford the higher cost of a plan from the merged company might turn to smaller carriers that offer prepaid plans for their wireless needs.

The phone I ordered was the wrong one so I went to the Sprint store to excange it for an upgraded Blackberry World Phone. With Sprint out of the picture, there will be three major carrier choices in the U.S. for wireless customers and that makes it easier for the companies to raise rates or diminish service quality in some way.

Summary: I had a plan and a phone and a wireless company I was reasonably happy with. We were told by their lying sales rep that for $70 a month we would get 2 lines and 2 free phones. I called the customer representative and she walk me thru steps to fix my phone.

Conclusion: Yes, it is not only possible but extremely likely for Sprint customer service to be this bad. I just hope some Customer Service representative will eventually be able to get me a return kit for this phone that I never really ordered in the first place.

The account was not ever closed, the phone was still active under sprint. Over five years or so, Hesse wound down the Nextel network and transitioned customers to the main Sprint network. Whoever said there's no such thing as bad publicity” is invited to explain how firing customers helped Sprint.

My phone bill that was supposed to be different once I signed up with the Fair and Flexible plan” was supposed to be 59.99, funny……my bill for one month is 117.00 this is after only 32 of my anytime minutes were used and no internet or downloading has taken place.
